ADEOLA AJOGBASILE JOHN WAJI

MD/CEO

A boardroom enthusiast and banking Operations Executive with over 14 years of diverse experience in marketing, commercial banking, personal banking, microfinance banking, investment banking, alternative investment services, operations management, business development, and financial regulatory compliance renowned for strategic thinking, and decisive decision-making. 

In October 2016, Adeola joined Shalom Microfinance Bank as the Executive Director, Marketing, where she brought her extensive experience and expertise to elevate the institution’s marketing efforts further. Her innovative ideas, market insights, and exceptional leadership skills have been instrumental in expanding Shalom MFB’s customer base and promoting its range of financial products and services.

Recognizing her exemplary performance and ability to deliver results, Adeola was appointed as the Chief Operating Officer (COO) of Shalom MFB in May 2018; As the COO, she oversees the bank’s overall operations, ensuring seamless coordination across various departments. 

In January 2024 Adeola was appointed MD/CEO of Shalom Microfinance Bank after the resignation of the previous MD.

Her strategic mindset, operational efficiency, and commitment to excellence have contributed to Shalom MFB’s continued growth and success in the competitive banking industry.

She is an alumnus of the prestigious Lagos Business School, where she holds a certification in Senior Management Program, London Business Training Consulting, London, and also an alumnus of Bowen University, where she holds a BSC in Mass communication. She is a Certified Microfinance Professional.

GRACE

GRACE OMOLARA OLOYE

HEAD, OPERATIONS

Grace is a seasoned banking professional with over eight years of experience in microfinance operations, customer service, and human capital management. Currently serving as the Head of Operations at Shalom Microfinance Bank Ltd, She is known for her proficiency in managing funds transfers, overseeing bank operations, and liaising with financial institutions.

Before joining Shalom Microfinance Bank, Grace held significant roles at Lafarge Cement WAPCO Nigeria PLC, SUSU Microfinance Bank, and Zikado Microfinance Bank. Her diverse experience in these institutions has equipped her with a comprehensive understanding of the banking sector and a proven track record of enhancing operational efficiency.

Grace hold a Higher National Diploma in Mass Communication from The Polytechnic Ibadan, Ibadan. and ongoing professional certifications.  Her career is distinguished by a commitment to professionalism, teamwork, and continuous improvement, making her an invaluable asset in the financial industry.

MOTUNRAYO

AFOLAYAN MOTUNRAYO

HEAD, FINANCE AND COMPLIANCE

Motunrayo is a seasonal financial consultant and analyst with over a decade of experience in finance, operations and risk management. She has worked with top financial institutions in Nigeria, specializing in investment banking, operation and risk management. Her expertise cuts across various sectors of banking, and she has served on several committees and attended numerous trainings and seminars to hone her skills.

Motunrayo graduated from the Department of Accountancy in Osun State Polytechnic Iree, Osun State in 2006. She later proceeded to Ladoke Akintola University Ogbomosho and Obafemi Awolowo University where She obtained her Post graduate Diploma in Finance and Master of Business Administration in Entrepreneurship in 2009 and 2021 respectively. 

Motunrayo qualified as an associate member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) in November 2018 she is also a certified Microfinance Banker (MCIB), Motunrayo’s expertise in finance and accounting is unmatched. She served as Head Of Operation at FBN Microfinance Bank (now Letshego Microfinance Bank) Ltd from 2010 to 2015 before joining Headway Microfinance Bank in 2015 while at Headway Microfinance Bank, she held several positions and was at a point she was the Head of Finance, Credit and Risk of the company.

Motunrayo is an exceptional investment analyst with a proven record of success in the Nigerian banking industry especially in Microfinance Sector.

STANLEY ZABAYO

STANLEY ZABAYO

HEAD, CREDIT AND MARKETING

Stanley Zabayo is the Head, Credit and Marketing at Shalom Microfinance Bank (SHALOMMFB), where he oversees the bank’s business operations and marketing strategies. With a robust academic background, Stanley holds a BSc in Geography and Regional Planning from the University of Benin and an MBA in Marketing from Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, Ogbomoso.

Stanley brings a wealth of experience in product development, credit risk management, and marketing to his role. His career spans 14 years in the microfinance banking sector, where he has held various pivotal roles. Before joining SHALOMMFB, Stanley served as Head of Credit Risk and Acting Head of Marketing at Rehoboth MFB Ltd. In this capacity, he managed the bank’s risk policy framework, which included credit analysis, control, monitoring, administration, and portfolio management. His responsibilities also extended to business development and enhancing client experience.

Stanley’s extensive experience includes a tenure as a Branch Manager at Letshego Microfinance Bank Ltd for nearly five years and as a Senior Relationship Officer for two years. He began his career as a Relationship Officer at FBN Microfinance Bank Ltd, where he served for over a year.

A certified Microfinance Professional, Stanley has participated in numerous training programs both locally and internationally, enhancing his expertise in the field. His comprehensive knowledge and strategic insights make him a vital asset to the SHALOMMFB team.

OMOGBEYIN BAMIDELE AMOS

OMOGBEYIN BAMIDELE AMOS

HEAD OF INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY

Bamidele is an experienced IT expert with over 9 years of combined experience, including more than 7 years in the microfinance sector. 

He holds a degree in Banking and Finance from Lagos State University (LASU). Additionally, he completed a Diploma in Computer from Stolink Integrated Engineering and has undergone various other training’s to enhance his skills in the field.
